Dear 2021,
Thanks to you! Despite another turbulent year and many ups and downs, you gave us many beautiful moments. 
Many of them with YOU! 
Thank you for your constant support, for wonderful tournaments with you, for great conversations, for your understanding of measures and constantly changing corona requirements and, last but not least, thank you for your very personal way of being part of the golf park Gut Hühnerhof be. 
We look forward to another year with you and to a 2022 with a great golf season and good health for all of us. 
Walter has always been a very determined and kind-hearted person.
With a cappuccino and a simple jam sandwich in the morning we could always make him happy and put a smile on his face.
In 1980 he and his wife Irmgard took over the remote one Gut Hühnerhof. Thanks to many helpers, he manages to create something great out of a forgotten piece of earth. 
With the restoration of the farm, an agricultural operation was created, the first public golf course in Hesse & the Gutsschänke, his heart project chapel

Dear members and friends,
we mourn the loss of our president, senior boss, head of the family and friend Walter Hecker.
On December 09th, after a long illness, Walter was allowed to leave us peacefully with his family.
This loss of a role model and inspiring companion for so many of us is difficult.
Walter was always full of heart and soul and a wealth of ideas for the golf park personally Gut Hühnerhof Yes.
We will miss him very much at award ceremonies, evening events or just a short chat on the driving range.
What remains is the memory of his cheerful way, his courage to try new things and his openness.
The Hecker family and the entire golf park team will carry on his philosophy and vision and act according to his example.
