Team photo women age group 30

Last Saturday, the home game of the 18th Hessenliga South of women AG 4 took place on the 30-hole course. Elke Puppen-Leussler's team had planned and organized a lot in advance to make the day not only for their own players, but also for To make the opposing teams as comfortable as possible despite the tension of the league game. Right at the beginning, they had therefore prepared a tea present for each player and they also put together the halfway completely themselves from many self-baked and cooked delicacies. With a boost in motivation from the previous away win in Seligenstadt, our girls finally started at 10.00 a.m. Before the award ceremony, there was a round of sparkling wine after the competition on the terrace of the Heckers restaurant. In addition to the best team performance, the gross and net winners were also chosen with prizes that were also compiled by the Gut Hühnerhof-Team.

The GC Wiesbaden team landed on 3rd place, followed by Seligenstadt.

We warmly congratulate our girls! Great result & a great day! Thank you!

Here is the report from the GNZ and many other impressions:

Transparency as a matter of the heart

Spring festival and open doors in the Gut Hühnerhof

Cheers to a successful event: That Gut Hühnerhof celebrated a colorful spring festival and allowed a look behind the scenes of the wide range of products.

The little ones could also make their own instruments there in the form of rattles from crown corks and guitars with pizza boxes. The children were also offered a lot outdoors. For example, they could test their skills in the BewegungsGut Hühnerhof, the mini golf and a golf trial on the driving range of the 9-hole course or simply let off steam on the XXL bouncy castle.

The artist from the entertainment agency Andersland provided a special highlight among the adults. In addition to the wild bull with his red eyes, who regularly threw his riders in the air in a high arc, he made a very entertaining program with a lot of humor, which quickly became the center of attention. The visitors lingered a little longer in the shade of the inner courtyard of the historic estate to watch the goings-on.

The head of the family that runs the hotel, the golf park and the Heckers restaurant, Walter Hecker, emphasized in advance that for him and the two tenants of the BewegungsGuts family Frech and the Gutsschänke Stefan Schwedt, in addition to the numerous entertainment offers, opening all doors was an affair of the heart. Because where else do you get the opportunity to take a look into the hotel room yourself without obligation? He was repeatedly approached by guests who just wanted to take a look to see the quality and the warm atmosphere for themselves.

Many visitors gladly accepted this offer this weekend and wandered through the large building complex. Cool drinks and the wonderful rays of the sun did the rest, so that all visitors could enjoy their trip and stay.

Golf park season opening tournament Gut Hühnerhof

After the torrential rain last Friday, our season opening tournament took place on Saturday. So that the place could at least dry out a bit, the cannon start was moved back by 2 hours, so that 13.00 players started at 54:2 p.m. punctually. Before the game, Club Manager Michael Hecker and President Walter Hecker greeted those present and expressed their joy at the start of the season. The game was played in the mode of a four-player selection drive, so that teams of two were always formed. Thanks to the sun's rays, the round was very relaxed and the mood was very relaxed, although the shoes were wet afterwards.

On the gravel surface of the Hecker, the golfers were already waiting for the lounge furniture and the preheated grills. The delicious barbecue buffet was finally enjoyed directly on the terrace with cool drinks. However, all participants came to the award ceremony in the large event room.

A total of 6 teams created a tie of 37 net points! They included: Birgit Bluhm with Frank Odenahl, Sigrid Flögel with Christa Reidelbach, Klaus Heilmann with Bernd Pontani, Enrique Canete-Sanchez with Oleg Laguzov, as well as Uwe with Gabi Looß and Dr. Angelika with Dr. Helmut Steil.

Only one pairing with 42 net points could clearly stand out from the field: Marco Spindler and Heiko Schreiber secured victory!

Visibly satisfied with the first tournament of the season, those present let the evening end with nice conversations and cool drinks.

Happy Easter summer greens golf park Gut Hühnerhof

Our members and guests have been enjoying putting again since Easter Saturday. The freshly opened summer greens are soaked in a lush green, which has breathed them into the rain in recent months. As an additional gift, the bags no longer have to be carried from now on. The trolleys can roll up again and make the game of golf even more pleasant.

Noise, dust, planning skills & (wo) menpower!

These factors have shaped the last few years, but now calm has returned.
A lot of love for detail, a thoughtful composition of the past and the new moves into the new extension of the Gut Hühnerhofs.
The hotel reception, the breakfast room and the café shine in new splendor with the handcrafted furniture in our own workshop and joinery. The carefully selected materials do the rest. Sch...on from tomorrow the team of the hotel welcomes you Gut Hühnerhof in the new premises.

General meeting of the golf club Gut Hühnerhof

Last Saturday the general meeting of our golf park took place in the large event room of the "Hecker". Over 160 interested golfers listened to the presentation about the past and upcoming season. Walter Hecker, the president of the golf park, opened the evening by warmly welcoming everyone present. In his address, he paid special attention to family cohesion, the whole Gut Hühnerhof-Complex has shaped over the years and which is now carried on in the grandchildren generation.

Myriam Hecker, who is in charge of the hotel, then announced the upcoming events at the historic estate and reported on the hotel's successes Gut Hühnerhofs in 2017, such as the well-attended benefit concert in favor of the Buntspechte day care center. Susanne Hecker then took over the report on the relocation of the hotel reception, the breakfast room and the café, which was taking place at the moment Gut Hühnerhof in the new extension. She also informed the members about the redesigned websites of the Gut Hühnerhof and the Heckers Restaurants and via the new "Heckers-Eck" in the entrance area, also built on Saturday, which invites you to linger. As the club manager, Michael Hecker reported on the past golf season and its promotions and events. Tobias Hecker then looked at the season again from the perspective of his greenkeeping team. Actually, more new building measures were planned than could actually be implemented. The reason for this was the massive increase in rainfall in late summer and again in January, which made the ground impassable for heavy equipment and machines. In addition, the number of hours of sunshine had also fallen by an average of 10 from July onwards.

Michael then opened the outlook for the upcoming 2018 season. Among other things, he presented new member promotions and innovations that affect the game operations. In between he gave the floor to the captain of the AK 30 women's team. Elke Puppel-Leussler reported briefly on the development of the team last year, which had to find its place in the new league as a promoted team and which also managed it successfully. She also expressed a big thank you, both to the entire team at the golf park, the Hecker restaurant and, last but not least, to the Hecker family. Ms. Puppel-Leussler has been that for 20 years now Gut Hühnerhof loyal and was present at the opening of the 9-hole course as well as the founding of the golf park. Anton Mulijon, as captain and former team captain of the AK 30 men's teams, also reported briefly on the past season and expressed his thanks.

With the publication and announcement of the tournament calendar, the official part of the general meeting came to an end. Michael Hecker ended the meeting by expressing his thanks again to all those present for their loyalty and the trust they had in the family for many years. The family tries again and again to implement new, innovative ideas and is grateful for the numerous suggestions and the many personal conversations over the season. Conveying warmth and a little sense of home to all guests has always been the top priority. Because the feeling of togetherness is passed on beyond the boundaries of the family to all employees and to a certain extent also to the guests.

Afterwards, the members stayed for a while and found each other in new constellations to chat a little over a drink or two.
