What would the pre-Christmas season be without an Advent calendar ... we have also prepared one on the 18-hole golf course and so the first golfer of the day can look forward to a small present at our reception until December 24th. - What will be in it tomorrow?
Our now traditional Martinsgan tournament took place last Saturday. Despite the bad weather forecast, 18 golfers took part. The game was played in the mode of a four-player selection drive in which the participants started in teams of two. After playing 18 holes, the players met in the large event room of the "Heckers - Restaurant, Café, Bar". There were other guests as well as the Hecker family. Together, the participants enjoyed the served goose legs with potato dumplings and red cabbage. Walter Hecker, the president of the golf park Gut Hühnerhof and head of the family, greeted all those present warmly and referred in his address once again to the importance of the contemplative season, which is now just around the corner. Corresponding to the St. Martin's parades, which took place at the same time in the community of Gründau, he also briefly outlined the story of the merciful man who shared his coat. Michael Hecker then greeted everyone again and thanked them for the fact that the tournament could take place at all. Anton Mulijon then led through the award ceremony.
Third place went to Enrique Canete-Sanchez and Oleg Laguzov with 38 net points. Marian Botor and Oliver Stoffel achieved second place with equal points. The Spindlers won the victory and the associated vouchers for another goose meal with 39 net points. After the award ceremony, those present lingered a moment and finally decapitated the red wine bottles they had won.

On October 21st, the ladies held their annual tournament on the 18-hole golf course at Heckers Restaurant. There was a good run during the fun tournament; The women played in a 2-way scramble from the men's tees. The 18 participants kept their good mood despite the gray weather and had a toast at the halfway - a successful end to the year on the golf course!

After five days and 29 teaching units with Markus Münch, this year is now also drawing to a close Autumn vacation camp to the end. The golf camp for the little ones reached its climax with an award ceremony and award ceremony on Saturday. The traditional end of the season, the “President's Prize”, took place last Saturday. After the long rainy phase, the 84 participants in the tournament were rewarded with great weather in the morning. Classically, a Chapman foursome was played, a game in which pairs are played. After the greeting by Michael Hecker and Anton Mulijon, the players distributed among the 18 tea boxes. The tournament started at 11.00 a.m. sharp. White sausages with pretzels and obazda were served as a halfway. The sunny weather put everyone in a good mood and ensured that the tournament participants gathered on the terrace of the "Hecker" after their round before they went to the event room for the evening event. All members, not just the tournament participants, were invited to this with partners. The evening meals - kettle meat with cabbage, bread and salt, as well as the vegan alternative sweet potato curry, were sponsored by the Hecker family as every year. As usual, the President of the Golf Park Walter Hecker welcomed everyone present and thanked everyone for the successful 2017 season. In addition to the tournament winners, the winners of the annual ratings of the monthly cup and match play were also honored. The winners of the total gross this year were Sascha Kopunovic and Sybille Lumme. The total net was secured by Maximilian Müller and Cosima Stecho. Sybille Lumme was also able to secure the match play, while Andreas Göbig won the men's match.
Finally, Anton Mulijon also took over the award ceremony of the tournament. In the net class C (handicap from 49,1) Sylvia and Thomas Wieder won with 42 points, followed by Olaf Ullmann and Christa Reidelbach (41 points). Third place went to Enrique Canete-Sanchez and Oleg Laguzov, also with 41 points. The net class B (handicap 35,1 - 49,0) was led by Oliver Stoffel and Patrick Wolf with 43 points. As in the net class C, Heiko Schreiber and Marco Spindler landed tied with third Uwe and Gabi Looß in second place with 39 points with a jump-off. The pairings Klaus Stephan and Boris Niels Heyer (0,0 points), Isabella and her husband Lars Urban (35,0 points), as well as the married couple Nina and Christian Klammer ( 42 points). Birgit Bluhm and her partner Frank Odenahl were able to secure the overall victory and the big challenge cup with 39 net points and in the end just one point ahead.
